These commentaries are born of the womb of experience. My mother raised me diligently and with perhaps more wisdom than she knew,
to separate from the herd, to discover my own thoughts and feelings and to forge my own path through life.
It was a harder path and a lonelier one, but a richer and more aware one.
Looking back on the decades, it is clear to me that those same values were reinforced in my spiritual walk, no longer by my mother, but by Spirit.
